Demedios Cafe - Rockhampton

A nice little place for lunch. I enjoyed the calamari and hubbie had the BLT with chips. Good food with no complaints. The service was really good.

Every time we go here its always fantastic! The food is always made fresh and there is a lunch and dinner menu which are both fantastic. I love the mocktails that are on the menu too. Its hard to find a good one and this place has the best ones! Thankyou for always be consistent.

I have been a few times to Demedios for lunch and dinner. The staff are always very friendly and the food is always consistently good. I ordered a variation to the menu (steak with hollandaise sauce and topped with prawns) as I am sensitive to garlic (there menu said garlic sauce/prawns) and they were very obliging. My meal was delicious and the steak was just the way I wanted it. They allowed us to bring our own cake for a birthday too. All around very happy. We will be back.

Demedios is a great little tucked away restaurant. They do a great coffee - lots of variety in syrups and teas also. I drop in here when I want a decent coffee every so often. The breakfasts we have had were a little bit less than what we expected, the waffles were well overdone, somewhat hard and cold and the eggs bene was an average dish due to quantity and quality. Our dinner experiences were 5 star however, portions were very generous, great flavour and cooked extremely well. The garlic and Parmesan cheesy bread was delicious and so fresh. Steak was cooked and served to perfection. The service is friendly, quick and attentive. You also have the option to sit inside in the air con or outside in the fresh air. This is a great little place and would recommend it without a doubt.

I ordered chicken carbonara and it was awful. Never have I had it with smoked chicken thigh striped straight from a whole chicken, nor have I had it with burnt/caramelised onions. To make it worse it was only just warm. I have always enjoyed meals here but this was terrible. After our meal was served we did not see a wait person again, no one came to ask how the meal was or if we would like another drink or dessert. It took over 15 minutes for them to come and take our initial drink order and they weren't even that busy. Very disappointed.
