Cantina Taco - Rockford

The tacos here are very good. I particularly liked the Screw City taco. The service is also excellent. Great atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

Delicious, I got the chicken garnel build their own nachos, super tasty and the money worth huh was super good, idk when it was local, but it was good big pieces not little dried pieces like many other restaurants I had lately. shrimp is also good, it is illinois, so I doubt that it was local lol, but it was definitiw fresher than garnel that I had other more expensive places. I had a little bit left so I had a side order on chips to get it as midnight snack, but I always have extra tips that I can't really stack on my chips. my friend got the vegetarian chorizo burrito and loved it, I'm sorry no photo even they have crispy ice good to hit, so they get a fountain drink

My whole family loves taco bullets. When we first heard about cantina taco, we knew we had to try. we were so glad we made it! for not long after they have opened, we have got to run at least a few times a month and some months, much more. their Taco bullets are simply the best and we have tried to exist at any place in the city we know from them! the portions are generous and we never end a meal in the position to eat more. the personal is always so friendly and happy to take/book our order. in an age where a good customer service is so difficult to find, cantina taco is one of the rare places where it still exists!

In reference to the Catina Taco food trucks: There’s nearly limitless ways you can season meat, from more exotic Asian flavors to the traditional staples of taco seasonings to a more conservative salt and cracked peppercorn. Cantina Tacos makes to bold choice of deciding meat needs no seasoning whatsoever and just slaps it on a taco. And were it a brisket or high quality steak, ok. But, no. Wet flavorless pulled chicken or pork, still dripping water from the roaster it was cooked in. Toppings were good but the taco is seriously held back by the wet flavorless mass in the bottom of the shell. Not worth the price.
