Arthur's Garden Deli - Rock Falls

If you're tired of the usual lunch chains, Arthur's is a great, local sandwich stop with delicious sides and even better desserts! The buildings are always clean, service is always top notch, and sandwiches are solid. My most recent visit I tried the pastrami and ham Swiss which were both good and comparable with cost to other chains. I've been in and out of the Sterling/Rock Falls area for years. I make it a must to pick up lunch at Arthur's at least once very visit. Some of this stems from supporting local economy and the ginormous, custom turtle candy cups available at checkout. *For those Yelpers who were underwhelmed, remember where you are. Rural towns always champion a local establishment, gush over the food, and celebrate lineage. Patrons expecting an east coast deli experience or variety of complex flavors, leave those expectations for a more urban venue.

Really like the sandwichs they have the soup is good to for not being made in house . I would recommend the place for lunch or dinner. The work of art is areallygood sandwich and very filling

Great place for a quick lunch! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I was in and out very quickly. Great sandwich! This definitely beats the sandwich chains and costs less!

Not much to brag about. The sandwich was super small and soup as well. Paid like 10 bucks and left hungry.

So fresh, the sandwiches look very appealing and taste even better. The pasta salad is a must try and also the broccoli Parmesan soup was wonderful. I have visited multiple times and never had a bad meal or bad service. I brought two friends this time and they both really enjoyed the food. For looking like a small place there are several tables with plenty of room. Not for a group but a party of 4 will sit comfortably. Closed on Sunday is a bummer for us out of town guests but I visit as often as I can.
