Alex's Of Rochester Family Dining

We Were told to take a seat in a certain section and she would be over will menus. We then watched her laugh and giggle watching something on her phone. It took about 10 minutes for her to bring menues. Then she took the drink order and again we watched as the wait staff looked at phones and chatted before bringing us drinks. The restaurant was almost empty and they're wad plenty of staff but they were too busy entertaining themselves to wait on customers! Our family will never go back!

Disappointing visit last week (first time visit).Tuesday early dinner with only a couple people in the restaurant. Service was really poor and the food was just OK. Will not return.

Not a bad place to come for lunch…it’s a fancy diner. And it’s always welcoming!

Alex 's has great food. I 'm picky and I love their food. Athena was our server, and she has the BEST personality. She 's amazing at her job. I highly recommend.

The absolute worst food and the absolute worst service.I have lived in Rochester Hills for 20 years and I’ve gone to Alex‘s for many years. Their service and food quality has gone downhill. I ordered carry out and upon arriving home these are my chicken sandwiches. I had also ordered two rice puddings. Which they forgot to put in my bag.We called the owner Alex himself and voiced our concerns and we requested a credit.Alex was extremely defensive, rude and made excuses for why the sandwiches were soggy. All he did was offer to remake our food. It was a very long day. My husband just had surgery and it was pouring rain. The last thing I wanted to do was drive back up to Alex‘s and pick up more soggy sandwiches. What a waste of $50. Threw it straight in the trash. They are horrible and do not care about their customers. Do yourself a favor and go to Rams Horn, National Coney Island, or George’s.
