Geva Theatre Center - Rochester

Always such an amazing time at Geva theater center. There is a small resturant, not really consessions more small bites and cocktails. Ample parking across the street. There is no bad seat in the house.

The wizard of Oz was very disappointing! It was a drag show and very poorly done. Was not expecting that at all as it was NOT advertised as a drag show. Took my children to this and left soon after it started. This needs to be more clearly stated when advertising. Very disappointed I was expecting The Wizard of Oz. Not the drag story of it! Want a refund!!!

He a Theatre is easy to find and parking is accessible either behind the theatre or across the street. The theatre has a nice bar and small kitchen with lots of seating. You can also order ahead for intermission. Drinks were permitted in the theatre. The theatre itself is small and intimate, which we liked. The seats were comfortable. We saw The Wizard of Oz and it was beyond words.We were really impressed with the theatre and it’s season of productions which is unique and so inclusive! We drove from Syracuse to attend the show and it was well worth it.

GEVA provided a world class experience with the Wizard of Oz. To cast...I have no words! I was dancing in my seat the entire time! Costumes- GENIUS! Stage crew, music, sets, all extraordinary. Thank you for the experience.

Geva is a Rochester gem! We've enjoyed every show we've seen here the actors are always top notch! We also appreciate being able to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine prior to the show.
