Bit of a shakey start to the experience when we were nearly turned away by one of the waitresses at 2120 when they closed at 2200. Luckily she asked her manager who quickly cleaned a table for us and seated us which was great. A ginger waitress did throw a comment out which was ‘I bet he sits them in my area’ which obviously wasn’t very nice for us to hear. Chris the manager was so friendly and welcoming he directed us to our table, asked us if we’d visited and explained anything which may be different in the current pandemic (the precautions in place at this Hut are amazing , and he helped us with ordering as we were using meerkat meals and it was the government 50% off day. All the food was lovely but we ordered both pizzas with a stuffed crust and one came as a normal base. Told a waitress and she spoke to Chris who was quick to come out and apologise and explain that he had put another one in the oven for us and it would just be a short wait (and he let us keep the wrong pizza! . Overall what could’ve been a bad experience saved by Chris! Protect Chris at all costs he really knows how to look after customers.
