Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant changes its menu weekly and always offers a vegan and gluten-free option. Their signature dish, firecracker cauliflower, is expertly prepared. We also sampled the mushroom cigars (vegan filo with mushroom pate and pistachio cream sauce, truffle salt) and black bean soup as starters. All three courses were delightful. The main dish, chickpea crisp tower, was a hit. The almond-encrusted tofu was a standout and all the components of the tower worked well together. To end the meal, we enjoyed the homemade vegan and gluten-free mint chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate chunk cookies with espresso. The service was excellent and we appreciated that the restaurant caters to vegans in their weekly menu options, something that is sometimes overlooked in Roatan.
This upscale restaurant offers outdoor seating and attentive service. They serve handcrafted beer and cocktails made with house ginger beer. While there were no vegan main dishes on the menu, the restaurant did offer two delicious vegan appetizers: lentil dal and firecracker cauliflower. The cauliflower dish was particularly impressive. For dessert, there were two vegan options available: a chocolate chili tart and mint chip ice cream with chocolate chip cookies. We couldn't decide so we opted for the tart with a pot of ice, which was delicious. The ice cream was made with fresh mint and had a great taste. Although the prices were on the higher side, we found that the quality of the drinks and appetizers justified the cost. Overall, a great dining experience.
This restaurant offers a new menu each week and always includes a vegan, gluten-free option. The firecracker Cauliflower appetizer is particularly well-executed, as are the mushroom cigars (vegan filo with mushroom pate and pistachio cream sauce, truffle salt) and black bean soup. We tried all three courses and enjoyed each one. The Kichererbsenturm main course was a standout, with almond encrusted Tofu and well-balanced flavors throughout the dish. For dessert, the homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate champagne cookies with espresso were delicious. The service is excellent and we appreciate that the restaurant considers vegans in their menu planning, as we are often overlooked in Roatan.
