Bidrage med feedbackThe kitchen was closed when we arrived even though this app says it open. Wasn't given a menu but ended up showing them a picture from here and getting the food. It was good just not 21 euros worth in my opinion.
A small family run place in mtn town of Anderis; lovely outside seating with superb innovative mountain food. Home made pasta, sauces were complimented by some of the local wine. The owners were friendly and helpful as some of the offering on the menu were in the local dialect. Three of us shared lasagna, ravioloni funghi, tagliolini funghi plus wine, water , coffee Total 44.70 Euros. Certainly a place to return!
My husband and I drove to Asiago on a Monday in early October. It's a scenic area in the Alto Piano area (foothills to the Dolomites). The area is beautiful holiday area. But, between the summer and the winter season there are few visitors, so many places are closed. We rejoiced when we found the Stella Alpina open. Though it sits in a large parking lot and has a nondescript exterior, the interior is charming and welcoming. The proprietor, a small white haired Italian speaking lady greeted us with a stream of chatty Italian. We only understood parts of it, but that didn't stop her at all. She was pleased that we were Americans and proudly informed us that she has/had 7 uncles who live in Chicago. Later, with helpful guidance from our waitress, we ordered our primi and a grill platter for two. The primi, bigoli and fettucine, were superb and the mixed grill, their specialty, was delicious. We could smell it long before it arrived at the table and we already knew it would be great. If you're near Asiago, it's worth the 10 minute drive to Stella Alpina. It's a good restaurant with northern Italian soul. We'll be back.
