Very nice property. Food in restaurant was excellent, but service was very slow. Pool and spa areas, with Tiki hut and bar were clean and well maintained. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Time share sales team were relentless. They called our room, waking us up, every day.
Ambiance was ok, maybe we went to the wrong side of the resort for our Sunday Tiki like experience. We chose La Cantina. Drinks were great, server was great. The food was god awful and I hate to ever say that. I would have taken a photo of the short rib tacos we ordered but I was completely disgusted as all three of us took a bite and agreed something was way wrong. Like spoiled cheese or meat I have no idea. We weren't staying at the hotel just dining but likely won't experiment there again.
What a treat! My fiancé booked a 2 bedroom suite we had friends visiting us in Boca. Great 2 night escape. Welcome team and valet team is super too. Super clean room too. We loved our room view 1700. Super soaking tub too. Generous Happy hour if Rod is your server bartender consider yourself fortunate genuinely nice helpful to everyone. Carbs be darned as I ate the hot pretzel beer cheese sauce appetizer both days !! My only recommendation: they should have a drink menu for the pool (we were at the larger infinity pool). Missed opportunity to showcase great cocktails, wines, Non Alcoholic drinks.
Disappointing Stay at Marriott Singer Island A Series of Unfortunate Events My family's recent stay at the Marriott Singer Island was deeply disappointing, marred by a series of mishaps and service failures that significantly detracted from our vacation experience. As a family traveling with young children aged 2, 5, and 7, we encountered numerous challenges that made our stay far from the relaxing retreat we had anticipated. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a room that bore little resemblance to the one advertised online. The promised view was nowhere to be found, setting a disheartening tone right from the start. This initial disappointment was quickly compounded by a host of maintenance issues, including a broken washer machine, a malfunctioning kitchen sink faucet, broken lamp, unsafe blinds, and a dresser drawer that collapsed and injured my son's foot. To add to our frustration there was no heat in the room for our cold weather while we were in town and the valet staff's rudeness was shockingly unwelcoming. Despite these numerous issues, our requests for a room change were denied, leaving us to navigate these inconveniences without the prospect of relief. The hotel's response to our predicament was equally disheartening; although a front desk manager refunded one night's stay and comped our valet parking, these gestures felt inadequate in light of the extensive problems we faced. Complicating matters further, communication with hotel management proved impossible during our stay. Despite multiple requests for a manager to contact us regarding our grievances, we were informed that both the hotel manager and director were out of town, with no return expected until after our departure. This absence of leadership during a time of need was particularly frustrating and left us feeling overlooked and undervalued as guests. The lack of professionalism extended to the front desk staff, who were dismissive of our concerns, particularly regarding the valet service, which is apparently operated by a separate company. The misinformation about available services, such as laundry, and a beach attendant's attempt to charge us for unordered items, further compounded our dissatisfaction. Our experience at the Marriott Singer Island was far from the quality and service we expected from such a reputed brand. The failure to adequately address our concerns or provide a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for my family is deeply regrettable. I hope this review serves as a caution to others and a call to action for the hotel management to make necessary improvements to ensure no other guests experience what we did. In summary, our stay was characterized by poor service, unmet expectations, and a lack of responsiveness, resulting in a one star rating. Future guests should be aware of these potential issues when considering a stay at this property.
