Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is truly impressive, especially given its limited space and small customer base. They put in a lot of effort to provide healthy food options, including gluten-free, fat-free, sugar-free, and non-GMO products. Their organic selections are consistently fresh, although the variety can be somewhat limited at times. However, it is quite pricey; typical items are about three times the cost of unhealthy alternatives from chain restaurants. I'm really glad we discovered this gem in our little town.
Now, let me tell you about the tea room—it’s fantastic! During my search for places in Riverton, I was initially planning to go to Subway. However, I spotted the sign for sandwiches and soups at Wind River Mercantile, which prompted me to stop in. There's plenty of parking available. I ordered the Sunshine Burger, which is vegan and served on a gluten-free bun. Although the burger was smaller than what you might find at other places, it was just the right size for my appetite, especially considering that many portions elsewhere are oversized. It was delicious! The bun could have been better, but the burger itself was fresh and clearly handmade, showcasing good quality ingredients. As a side note, the tea room has several sandwich options that cater to omnivores, as well as vegetarian choices for us veggie lovers. The waitress/cashier, who I believe is the same woman running the place, was incredibly nice and helpful. Just a heads up, don’t expect your food to come out quickly unless you call ahead.

The Tea Room is fantastic! During my visit to Riverton with my grandmother, I had almost resigned myself to eating at Subway. However, as I was driving, I saw the sign for sandwiches and soups and decided to check it out. There’s plenty of parking available. I ordered the Sunshine Burger, which is vegan and served on a gluten-free bun. While the burger was smaller than those at other restaurants, it was just the right size for my appetite—most servings are usually oversized anyway. It was delicious! The bun could have been better, but the burger itself was fresh and clearly handmade. As an added bonus, the Tea Room offers several non-vegan and non-vegetarian sandwich options, which is great for omnivores and sweet lovers alike. Our waitress and cashier (the same woman) was incredibly friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind that if you want to eat quickly, it’s best to call ahead.
