A Taste Of Greece - River Edge

The restaurant is quite small, but it was crowded during dinner. The lamb was delicious, but the pork was dry. However, neither dish was overly seasoned or salty. The simple salad was beautifully presented and tasty. The service was excellent and they keep you satisfied with plenty of pita bread and hummus. It's a good idea to make reservations or arrive early on a busy night.

Great experience. The staff was super nice and offered a great experience. That was our first time. While we were waiting for our food, we were offered some patterns of rice pudding. It was delicious. Get rice pudding, delicious. Large portions and very well seasoned.

The chef is a BAD A . He is not only the owner but this man is always behind the kitchen. The food is seasoned cooked to perfection. I loved it so much I had to take my family to a “tasting” of this restaurant. Thank you so much for making me love Greek food much more. The place is tiny, so I would recommend making a reservation; but it is so worth it. WARNING: pita hummus are addicting.

Amazing food. The gyro platter was plentiful and tasty, perfect for sharing between two people. Prices were fair and the service was top-notch. The only downside was the limited seating in the small dining room, so they don't yet offer dine-in options.

A strange thing happened when i walked into this place. I was transported to Athens! I was greeted by a jolly man asking me what i wanted to eat. I was shocked to learn that i now speak Greek. I was surrounded by the unwashed masses also waiting for their food. But i was special, i sent a messenger pigeon ahead of my arrival containing strict instructions about the feast my brethren and i were expecting. Nevertheless i had to wait another 15-20 minutes even though i arrived at their specified time. I assume they had to fend off a Lion attack and lost a few of their men, thus the delays. Upon returning home with the feast, we all agreed that this was by far the best Greek restaurant the space-time continuum can provide. We only hope they can replace the colleagues lost to the lions and can prepare food in a speedier fashion next time.
