Bidrage med feedbackWe also were here in March. The kind lady recognized us immediately. The place was again full with locals (making a reservation is best). The food is fantastic! We took the lardo con Miele again like in March, still magnificent. She recommended to try a marinated trout from the river with sweet and sour veggies and it was equally good. Next we had to try their perfect risotto again with toma cheese. Mmmm. For the main course we had tagliatelle steak, the smoothest ever, served on a sizzling hot plate for two. For dessert the owner insisted we try stuffed baked peaches and right she was. The amaretti biscuits and cacao made that a light but very tasteful and delicious dolce. Finally we were offered to try a homemade digestivo made with mountain herb and another with red wine and genziana (gentian roots). A perfect dinner! We were only sorry they were closed the next day (Wednesday) and we were continuing on already on Thu.
Was recommended by the hotel we stayed in Riva Valdobbia. You need a car to drive there. Enjoyed our dinner there (polenta with mushrooms). They have good wine too. The waitress gave good smile when I tried to speak my broken Italian to her. We got what we ordered, all happy. lol lol.
Very good meal, very nice owner who is clearly enjoying her time running the restaurant and talking to guests. The meat was the best part, taggliata with rosmarino, and teh cheese was excellent too.
Locale situato all'ingresso della valle, rustico e accogliente. Ciò che vedrete è ciò che otterrete: semplicità e cortesia. Molto consigliato.
Sono stato in questa osteria con i miei 5 anni di cannelloni buonissimi, ravioli molto buon servizio veloce e curato. i prezzi giusti torneranno sicuramente.
