Si experimenté un día frío, lluvioso y feo en los tres meses que pasé en España, definitivamente fue este. A pesar de que ya teníamos planeado nuestro paseo para otro día, mi amiga insistió en ir, así que nos abrigamos bien y salimos bajo la lluvia y el viento. Nos refugiamos en esta famosa pastelería, conocida por sus deliciosas masas y postres tradicionales. Algunas de sus especialidades son las moixaines y los mimos y carícies, dos tipos de pasteles originarios de Ripoll que datan del siglo IX en honor a Sant Eudal. Aunque buscamos recetas de crema catalana y brazo de chocolate, no pudimos encontrar ninguna, lo cual me hizo recordar el "ingrediente secreto de tradición oral" transmitido de generación en generación en Argentina. La masa de sus pasteles, según los expertos, incluiría leche, harina, almendras y azúcar, una receta que aparentemente sigue las recomendaciones de los nutricionistas para "adelgazar" (¡jajaja!). Para disfrutar de sus delicias, basta con ver lo que exhiben en sus mostradores. También recomendamos visitar la Pastelería Costa, que vende estas especialidades y delicatessen en la Plaza Sant Eudald, 7.
