Primo Piatto - RIOMAGGIORE

2 stars for the decor and the menu. The other stars are missed because we could not eat there, as a person locked the shop directly in from of us and left without a word. This was at 18.35 when it says shop opens at 18.30. The person did not say a word. We waited another 10 minutes and the speechless person re-apeared, again with out a word and opened the shop. By that time we already opted for the next door shop, bought some groceries and cooked our own pasta dinner. Missed opportunity to get a good review just because of the lack of communication and dedication to a business.

The pasta is great! We were staying in an apartment not far from here. While walking around trying to decide where to eat one night, we decided to get pasta here to eat at home . It was all really good. You can see them cook the pasta and add the homemade sauces. You can see their pasta-making equipment. Fresh and good. It ranged from 9 to 12 euros and it was a decent size (but not huge) serving. I would eat here over and over again.

Fast food it is not. Slow food it is. It is Italian. Very Italian and that is the best part. A Real Italian Experience. When in Riomaggiore do as the Italians.

Abbiamo preso delle trenette al pesto e delle tagliatelle al ragù di mare! Molto buone, pasta fresca super! Ottima da mangiare in giro! Valida alternativa alla solita focaccia.

Ideale. Pasta fantastica e fresca. Non si può sperare di meglio.
