Bidrage med feedbackEating is wonderful, the service friendly and very good. two times in a week. the melanzane starter (eggplant and cheese presented as a lasagne) is a fantastic starter. the 300 gram black angus steak was delicious. when we had whiskey after dinner, they left the (almost empty) bottle on the table. we finished it and when the bill came, there were three glasses. but their own measure on the bottle showed two. they corrected the bill without discussion. so we went back a second time.
Our venue for dinner on our first night in Rio and we were very impressed. The pizza was gluten free and wholewheat, topped with shiitake mushrooms, pecorino cheese and infused with white truffle oil and was absolutely divine! We also had the octopus served with broccoli rice which was delicious and filling. The wine list was excellent and we went for a 2016 Bourgogne Pinot Noir which topped off the meal perfectly. One small negative was that the air conditioning made it feel cold sitting inside. Otherwise amazing experience.
Good ambience, decor and service. But the food was very average. We were a party of 3 and each of our dishes was just OK. It was disappointing as we chose this place based on the reviews among several restaurants close to the Windsor Barra where we were for a conference. Did not get the true Italian taste we were looking for.
They have wood burning stove but unfortunately that is all. The pizza feels dough poorly baked and definietly small. Generally disappointing. Good onion sup but...
Mediocre experience and food We went there yesterday night, had such low quality food and service that we had to speak with the manager who waived our bill with explanation that we should come next time to see that it was an exception, but still one cannot accept such a bad service from a restaurant which wants to be fancy. Maybe we had bad day since other comments are very positive.
