This food and restaurant had its high and low points. when we came over the menu outside the manager and offered us free pisco sours with any meal (drinks that we never finished.) their lunch set was 12 soal (about $4) for juice, roasted corn snack, appetizer, escape and dessert. when we tried to order the server, said that they did not have any of the escapes on the menu and listed some other dinge that we could hardly hear in the loud room and could not understand. Finally we ordered something, but we didn't really know what. the restaurant is a large open room and some exterior. while we ate a dame, there was a plaque to bet money. not sure what the rules are for it, but no one asked them to go and they made round for all the time we were there. four of our appetizers we have two classic dishes, causa and ceviche. we have no comparative basis, since we have never had them, but they were excellent. I was a little nervous about the kevich (roughly marinated fish,) but it was cool, lightly spicy and tasty. I'm not a big fish, but that wasn't fishy at all. the wobbles were a bit strong, but the slice sweet potatoes balanced it beautifully. I was a bit nervous about raw fish this cheep, but our guide assured us that this place was clean. causa is a cold salad of spiced carrots, which are filled with something, from vegetables to meat. the main course was okay, but I'm really not sure what we ate. we were presented with a kind of bark and a frit, both accompanied by a pure (probably, a traditional pumpkin pot) and white rice. the pure was quite delicious, but everything else was just ok. dessert was a kind of jello.

Good internet and very cheap menus with appetizers, drinks and desserts that are covered on cost.

Entree, mains, dessert and a drink is around 12 soles pp (AUD$5pp . Plus you get a free pisco!! Would definitely recommend this place.

De férias eu sempre gosto de ir onde as pessoas da cidade comem. O restaurante não deve estar num roteiro gastronômico da cidade, mas vale a pena conferir. O local é simples, a comida é saborosa e um preço bem justo, além da simpatia do atendimento. Não se intimide com a aparência. Entre.
