Gan Bei Domina Shopping - Riga

I love to eat soup with sushi together. Yes. And this was my the most favourite combo

Excellent taste in interior design and food, sushi sets too big for two so they can pack it stylishly for taking home. Only absence of windows and just 1 kind of disappoint me.

Food is always great at Gan Bei, but the waitress was pretty aggressive and had a very strong russian accent (not that there's anything wrong with that, it just makes it difficult to communicate, especially if you feel rushed).

I was there with my dad for lunch and I was surprised about food quality. Looks like Asian chefs gone and food quality go up dramatically in the last year. Really suprise and happy about it but still there are some bits which spoil service in bad way. Like they have charged for a mint which been offered and didn't actually explain that it isnt as good service but will be added to the bill. An other thing about menu, there are some problems with picture and food in real life, which creates confusion for costomer when choose a dish. Unfortunately you can't sent it back, if you don't like a result of food on your table. You need to pay because you haf ordered. Little bit let down all experience there by this factor.

Every time it gets more and more disappointing, last time I was here the waiters were much faster, every time new waiters, worse and worse, not really friendly. Last time I rated it 5 stars, this time only 3. My husband got upset, we came happy, left with a not pleasant feeling as had to fait for 40 minutes, the order was ready after 30 minutes, it took the waiter 10 minutes to bring it to us after having been asked for a few times. The food is still good, though, that's why it 3 stars. P. S. I loved their warm hand towels but now it's disposable tissues like in cheap bistros, still, the prices are like in a restaurant.
