We travel through this area frequently and we always stop here. Really good smoke on the meat and the bark is perfect. I hope y'all check it out if your in the area.

I did carry-out. When I walked in to pick it up, the most amazing bbq smell I have ever enjoyed was encountered. I am on vacation and visiting family in the area. As often as I am here, I will make a point of returning, as the food we ate was every bit as good as the smell of the restaurant promised.

Ignore the bad reviews. I spent 17 years as a professional Chef, now retired. This BBQ is on point, full marks and the service was as good as the food. Tessa was my server. I came in for takeout and a beer while I wait. Tessa was on top of her game. Very feiendly and quick to serve. She answered a few questions I had. She made it easy to make choices. I am considering staying in Rifle another day to come back with service like this. I ordered the daily special, half rack and a 1/4 smoked chicken. Double mac and cheese, for under $20 Ribs were perfect. Great flavor. Chicken was succulent and delicious. Mac and cheese was satisfying, tastes authentic and propper. I will absolutely come back. I hope Tessa is working because she does such great work making customers happy. Thanks so much for the great experience. My little bulldog got to taste the chicken and she loved it as well.
