Sook Pastry - Ridgewood

My current obsession! The pastries are worth the hype. My favorite has to be the cinnamon danish which have a crispy outer layer but moist and soft inner texture. The espresso shots I had were pulled at the right time, leaving a nice flavor to combine with everything I've tried.

Oct 2023 update. Boring update as Sook remains excellent as ever. Great selection place always crowded. Prices reasonable and staff are really good despite have to deal with some impatient customers World class all around the best.

Employees here are rude, they treat people different. They like to argue with the customers. If you are looking for a wow experience this is not the place. The owner was nice and apologetic. The sad part is that the employees didn't care that we requested to speak to the manager. Bad experience, bad service.

Overpriced for the pastry portion they offer. Place needs a facelift.

I came here always late at night. Love the hot chocolate! The pastries and crepes not so much.
