Papa Johns Pizza - Rickmansworth

I placed an order for several pizzas, one of which was a 'Choose Your Own Toppings ' option. Regrettably, it became evident that onions had been added to this particular pizza when they should not have been. This oversight was only realized after someone in my family had already eaten a slice. Unfortunately, the individual in question has an intolerance to onions. Upon contacting the restaurant, the manager acknowledged the mistake and expressed apologies. I requested a refund for the affected pizza, but to my disappointment, the manager refused. Instead, I was offered the option to collect any replacement pizza of my choice. Considering the family meal was already compromised, I was hesitant to further inconvenience myself by going out to collect another pizza. Additionally, the individual who consumed the slice of pizza was no longer willing to eat, concerned about potential digestive issues from the onion intake. Despite explaining my preference for a refund rather than a replacement, the manager eventually agreed to process a refund. However, upon reviewing my bank records, I discovered that the restaurant had charged me the full amount for the pizza order. This was despite the manager 's agreement to process a refund.
