Bidrage med feedbackFor somewhere as beautiful as Hampton Court that is representing the royal history of Great Britain, the coffee is dreadful And the oat milk hot chocolate isn’t much better! why is acceptable to serve such poor food and terrible drinks ! My husband described the coffee as grey and tasted like dish water, he threw it away. I had hot chocolate, was ok not hot and incredibly sweet with not much chocolate. Up your game and serve proper coffee and hot drinks, try and impress the customers! Very disappointing that’s for sure !
What a shame we had to encounter this cafe whilst we toured around Hampton Court Palace. We both had a hot chocolate and one of us had a carrot cake and the other a plum cake. Both were disgusting. The carrot cake had so much sweet cream muck and the plum was dry, tasteless and inedible. We looked around at other diners’ food and we were not impressed. This does not reflect well for the UK tourist industry and we are extremely embarrassed that Hampton Court Palace can serve such rubbish. Shame on you ….
We have been coming here for years, also to see the rise garden, wild park, and kitchen garden. For us it is the only disabled loo (not all disabilities are visible) in the area. But yesterday there was a tent blocking the entrance with a female security inside. Where was our tickets? What tickets? We’ve been coming here for years without tickets. It’s only a cafe FGS. You mean we know have pay to use the disabled loos and get water a tea and a coffee on this the hottest day of the year? How much are tickets? Online £8.50, at the ticket office £26. You mean you are charging elderlies folks 26 to use a RADAR key loo for the disabled? Yes? That’s disgraceful. We walked off and used a tree.
So much variety here from sandwiches, hot food and salads. I had the mushroom quiche with chips and some mixed salad all were very tasty. The cake selection was tempting but I'd promised my tummy an icecream Cups of tea or coffee or a pot of from the afternoon tea side as I did. I sat outside on the umbrella covered patio.
The cakes I think were expensive. A slice of Victoria sponge was £5.95. There was very little choice when I arrived there at about 10.30am. I had a Danish and a mug of tea which was nice and hot. These were the cheapest things and cost over £6.00. The cafe was lovely and clean, well presented and staff very friendly.
