Pizza Express - Richmond Upon Thames

Fantastic experience, from the booking to seating at the table. Service with a smile, quick, small details count and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was lovely.

We had a delicious family meal here tonight. Lovely fresh ingredients and great service and advice from Miro. We will be back!

Food was good but the service was terrible. Staff had no interest in serving. Waited over 30 mins and they still hadn't come to take our empty plates. We had to physically go up and ask for the bill. Shames. 2nd bad experience this year. The staff definitely need training.

This can no longer really be called a restaurant as Take Aways are now the priority. Twice before this year we have been turned away from the restaurant (late evening) as the order list was 'full with Take Aways '. In July I pre booked a table for 4 for a mid afternoon meal. On arrival, the restaurant was half full everyone in there had been served already, however we were told there was a one hour wait due to take away orders. We left found another restaurant. Yesterday, Friday September 22nd, we were advised on trying to book for an evening meal with family that they could not confirm we would get served immediately even if the restaurant was empty, as (quote) Take Aways are now the priority . Pizza Express should decide whether they are a 'Take Away Only ' or a 'Restaurant '. They obviously can 't handle both. There are many other good restaurants in Twickenham.

Absolutely dreadful. Ordered pizzas and after an hour’s wait, politely checked to see how much longer it would be, only to have the manager physically and rudely “square up” to my husband and tell him to sit down. So rude and so incredibly disappointing upsetting. Came home ordered in.
