Tried this takeaway on a last minute whim and it was 100% scrummy! No fancy restaurant attached which is a pity as I think they would do well. Will be using again for the good food value.

E-wok went through a phase a while back of being a bit average but having had takeaways many times from here of late, it’s great to see the food is back to hitting the spot. This is a high street takeaway, not an expensive restaurant but despite that the food is delicious. If I was going to recommend some dishes I’d say the chicken chow mein, crispy shredded beef with chilli, prawns in black bean, lemon chicken, pork with special salt and chilli, prawn toast, Singapore fried rice, sweet and sour. 2 years we have been coming here for take away. I don’t live in the delivery area but even still we take the time to drive 20 mins here every time as I’ve not found anywhere half as good and consistent in quality.Anyone that says otherwise don’t know their stuff when it comes to Chinese food and I won’t hear a bad word said about this place! Nothing special from the outside but tremendous on the inside! Quick, fair priced great food! Never change, Ewok!!!
