Wimpy's - Richmond Hill

On June 29, 2019, we revisited Wimpy’s after first dining there about 7 years ago. We enjoyed our meal then and were pleased to find that we enjoyed it again this time. My dining companion ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich and was impressed by the tender and moist chicken, a rare find in a thin, breaded, deep-fried dish. I opted for the Chicken Shish Kabob with a side of Greek Salad. Although it seemed to be cooked on a flattop instead of a grill (there were no skewer holes in the meat), the dish was still tender and flavorful. I did feel that given the price, there could have been more chicken included in the portion. The service was good overall, although we did encounter a small issue with the bill which was promptly resolved when brought to our server’s attention.

I went to this restaurant tonight to get takeout and I was impressed with the service. The place was very clean and you could tell by the smell that the tables were well maintained. The decor was cute and gave off an old-school diner vibe. I ordered the veggie burger, which was huge and priced at $7. It was delicious and I appreciated that they added plenty of ketchup, mayo, and tomatoes without me having to ask. They didn't skimp on the toppings, which was great. The burger came on a nice bun as well. I would definitely consider returning, as they have a large menu and I was surprised to see that they offer all-day breakfast until midnight. Amazing!

Nice to try the carbonara penne pasta, that was the best pasta I’ve ever had!!!Will definitely come back for it.There is also special deal on every Thursday, get a glass of wine half price with the pasta.Spend less than $30 for a dinner like this I feel super satisfied.??Recommend to have a try !

Great restaurant with convenient location. The food was delicious and portion sizes were generous. I will definitely be returning in the future.
