Bidrage med feedbackOn Valentine's Day, we ended up at Swiss Chalet for dinner last minute. There was a short wait for a table, but it wasn't too bad. My partner ordered the Chicken Shrimp with Rice Pilaf, which was delicious with rotisserie chicken and grilled garlic shrimp. I had the Sweet Heat Salad, which was full of colorful ingredients like Mandarin oranges, roasted red peppers, carrots, corn, and lettuce, topped with sliced rotisserie chicken and a Thai glaze for heat, with a lime kiwi dressing. It was a satisfying meal for both of us.
I absolutely love Chicken Empire! It has quickly become one of my top choices for dinner. The biscuits and gravy are complimentary with soup or a meal, the buns are fantastic, and the coffee is surprisingly good. The head waitress adds to the charm of the place, making me feel like I am in a cozy small town diner. The friendly locals only add to the ambiance. If you are looking for fancy Oriental cuisine, this may not be the place for you. However, if you enjoy a delicious, affordable, and filling meal where kids are welcome and prices are budget-friendly, be sure to give Chicken Empire a try.
On Thursday, I received an email from Swiss Chalet promoting their holiday gift cards. The email also mentioned a promotion for Scene Card holders to earn 6 points for every dollar spent on gift cards at Swiss Chalet, Harvey's, Milestones, Kelsey's, and Montana's. Wanting to buy a gift for a friend, I decided to take advantage of this offer. After a trip to our local Zellers on Friday night, we went to Swiss Chalet on Yonge Street in Richmond Hill for some chicken and a gift card. The wait for a table was 30 minutes, so we decided to order at the take-out counter instead. After waiting in line for about ten minutes, we finally got our order.
