Sapporo - Richmond Hill

I recently visited one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the Richmond Hill area. It had been many years since my last visit, but I wanted to share my experience on my blog this time. Despite the passing years, this sushi spot has managed to remain successful since my initial visit in 2004. A colleague and I were in a hurry for an afternoon meeting, so we decided to relive our co-op memories with a quick lunch at this restaurant.

A friend recommended and brought me to this small restaurant for lunch. They suggested the salmon, but I decided to try the chirashi don instead. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dish given its affordable price. The sashimi in the chirashi don was fresh and there was a good variety. The meal also came with complimentary miso soup and dessert options of green tea ice cream or a Yakult drink, which was a nice touch. The service from the waiter and waitress was friendly and polite. I would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

The food is fresh, the service is friendly, and the quality is top-notch! This restaurant offers great value for the money. I will definitely return.

AMAZING. This small and hidden sushi restaurant often slipped my eyes as it didn't seem like any place special from the outside. To my surprise it has been absolutely delicious every single time I've been there. The sushi is always fresh and the staff are always so friendly. The price for sushi here is also pretty great for the quality. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a not so formal and fast sushi meal.
