Osmow's Authentic Mediterranean Restaurant

I had a great experience when I ordered the mixed shawarma poutine at this restaurant. I would give it a perfect 10/10 rating! It was super saucy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. I appreciated that the hot sauce had some flavor, unlike other places where it is just spicy. I also ordered some wraps with the same spice level, but for some reason, they were extremely hot and set my tongue on fire. I had to drink a lot of water to cool it down so I could enjoy the wrap. Despite that, the wrap was packed with ingredients and very filling. Next time, I would probably order it with no spice to be safe, but I would definitely order the shawarma poutine again! :)

I visited this restaurant on Tuesday to pick up a chicken green salad. The parking at the plaza was good, and the cashier service was good as well. However, the lady who packed the food was unpleasant. There were three pre-made salads, and at first, I thought one of them belonged to another customer. I mentioned to the lady that for my order, I preferred no Feta Cheese. She grabbed one of the pre-made salads, removed the feta cheese and threw it in the garbage. She then added some greens, sauce, chicken, and packed the bag with greasy hands before handing it to me. The bag was greasy and ripped, and I was not pleased with her attitude. The restaurant itself was decent.

The most important thing at this restaurant is the food, so I have to give it a rating of 1. I ordered a shawarma for my boyfriend and beef on the rocks for myself. I'm not sure about the shawarma wrap, but the beef on the rocks was not good. The rice was extremely dry and hard, and there were so many onions on the beef that it felt like I was eating onions with a side of beef. I felt like I was cheated when I received my order. The older gentleman working there was pleasant, but I don't think I will be returning to this location.

This particular Osmows location did not disappoint, good portion of meat, fries and sauce and tasted fresh.

I've given this Osmow's a few chances... but honestly every time I come I'm disappointed with the service. Often it is not clean and the service is slower than other shawarma places, not to mention serving friends first who placed their order after you. Save your money and go somewhere that treats you like a valuable customer.
