Good variety of menu, quality very good, Cantonese taste. Service so so. Price high. Dinner dishes are on the small size. Not very good value. 4 stars is for the quality of food, presentation and tastes, and venue. 2 stars for service, price and value.
Just dined in this restaurant on Father's Day Sunday. The first thing to find out is unacceptable cleanness. My daughter found dirty cup while turn up to be full of previous tea leafs inside.Tastes is not spectacular but price was. The so call discount is only on selected dishes which we noticed but waiter was rude.
This is a new restaurant that opened about 2 weeks ago. Their English name remains the same, but Chinese name is different from before.Whatever reviews that you read about this restaurant before mid-March 2017 do not apply. Three of us went for Monday early bird Dim Sum. $2.99 flat rate for S,M,L Dim Sum. We were greeted by smiling managers at door. Our waitress also greet us with big smile.Quality of Dim Sum is much better than other restaurants near by. Love their Har Gow. Best part is their service, they have the best service for Chinese restaurant in my memory. When we left around 10:15AM, there was already a line up at door. My suggestion for Dim Sum 1) Har Gow. 2) pumpkin congee (yellow color). 3) "Snow Mountain Number 1 Boa"Free Singtao and MingPao if you arrive early.
We were recommended to come here by our relatives in Canada to try all the favourite Contonese food from Hong Kong and how lucky we were.....roast duck, char siu pork, crispy pork, soya chicken, won ton mee, sweet & sour pork HK style etc., the list is endless. We live in London and I can say we used to have alot of tasty and quality contonese restaurants, but they are all becoming extinct due to lack of good chefs allowed to come to work in UK due to immigration issue.I can even say it beats alot of local restaurants in Hong Kong too......I love my HK food and I know it the moment I put in my mouth.Very tasty and authentic.
