Bidrage med feedbackMy son and I stopped at this restaurant for a quick break during our long journey. Unfortunately, my 14-year-old son needed to use the restroom right away, but the front of house staff refused him entry. Despite explaining our situation and our intention to purchase drinks and food afterward, we were still denied access. We recommend going to The Rose of York instead, where the staff are much friendlier.
The food at this restaurant was of a very good standard, but the service was a bit slow when it wasn't too busy. I suspect this was due to the kitchen, as the front of house staff were attentive and informative. However, the prices ended up being rather high, starting at £65 per person for a three-course lunch and increasing to £108 per person with wine, side dishes, and other extras. While the scallops were delicious, there were only two per plate which felt a bit stingy. Overall, the food was very good, but it didn't quite reach the level of "wow Michelin standard food." It was a good experience, but not exceptional and a bit pricey. I might consider going back to The Ivy Guildford instead.
We brought my mother here to celebrate her birthday. The restaurant has a stunning room with sunlight streaming through open windows, located just across the road from Richmond Park. Each dish was like a work of art, beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. The team of staff taking care of us were lovely. I highly recommend this place.
We held a lunch party in the private room of this magnificent restaurant on a sunny Saturday and could not be better pleased with the outcome. Barny supported us with courtesy and great patience during the planning phase and his team in the kitchen produced the most delicious meal on the day, professionally served by Barny himself and his friendly and attentive staff. Our long table was beautifully laid and embellished with delightful posies of freshly picked flowers. Pre lunch drinks could be enjoyed on the sunny balcony while admiring views into Richmond Park and the atmosphere in the light filled dining room could not have been bettered. Our guests praised each and every dish personal favourites were the Ox tail Risotto and the Shh'annu lamb (served perfectly pink, of course). It was a memorable occasion indeed and our thanks and those of our guests go to all at The Dysart.
We were back at the Dysart last week for our 10th wedding anniversary, 10 years after holding a much bigger wedding party here. This time, a small group of friends, but we had a marvellous evening, with wonderful food and wines, served by an excellent team, all carefully supervised by Barny, with his meticulous attention to detail. This is why we love going there!
