Bidrage med feedbackFood was probably 2-3 stars had some spicy chicken it was hot and fresh and exactly what we expected. I should have been concerned that lunch time and every other restaurant in the area was busy but this one was empty. Service was mediocre but when you go to pay there is a sign that you need to tip in order to eat in?????? That’s a 1 star review at best!Give good service with great food and I’ll be happy to tip you but NEVER demand or expect one.
Chickens cooked well and juicy but the service here is a joke. They put such little sauce on the chicken as to not make em soggy i guess but when you ask for extra they scoffed at me. Dont go here if you dont speak chinese. They will disrespect you
Vancouver has so much authentic Chinese food it's crazy. We walked past this place so I took a mental note to see how authentic it is and I'm happy to say it's very authentic. I believe the original one originated from Taiwanese night market as street food and then it spread quickly in China. The signature dish or order is the big fried chicken fillet. When you see the word bug you generally have a preconceived notion of how big a chicken fillet would be but I bet you will still underestimate how big it would be. It's humongous! It's also fried perfectly so no complaints there. I don't recommend the fried mushrooms much mostly because it's decent but nothing to write home about.
This restaurant is deceptive and unappetizing. I ordered for pickup through Ubereats and arrived early. The staff were talking to each other in Chinese, saying things like "Today's chicken size is too big, I am going to have a bite." They ended up taking some of the food they had already prepared for my order and hiding it at the counter. It's unacceptable for a restaurant to openly discuss eating customers' food in front of them. This restaurant is not recommended.
Ordered popcorn chicken Bento. Price was approx $12 but the portion is smaller now. My 9 year old son finished the whole thing. Chicken was a bit dry.
