Happy Tree House Bbq Mù Wū Tàn Kǎo

Came here for Friday night dinner and the restaurant was packed. Even all dinning tables were occupied, I was amazed how fast the servers were. Foods came out just under 10 minutes after order. I love the restaurant vibe even though it may be a bit noisy for some people.Intestines are must try, crispy outside and flavourful inside. However, I feel like most skewers taste the same, probably because they use the same seasoning for all.Parking can be challenging especially during the rush hour.

Their skewers use to be better, especially their hot pot skewers. The handmade noodles in pork bone broth had a bug in it so we told the server and he said give me a minute and then walked away. Came back 5 minutes later and said we will make you another one. When we tried it, the soup was way too salty.

My boyfriend and I came in really hungry and was impressed with their serving speed. We got our whole order within 5 minutes which definitely worth 5 star.My personal favorite is the intestines. It is extremely delicious, seasoned well and crispy as it should be. Everything else is great too.They only serve Heineken and Qingdao beer which is surprisingly small variety of beer for a store like this. No hurt to the great food though.The restaurant could get pretty loud if there is a large party. If you are looking for a more quiet and private place then this is not for you.

Skewers taste great. If you love spices and heavy taste then this is your to go place. We love their angus beef skewers and red sauce prawns. The veggie pickle fish was great, I thought it 'll come as a whole fish like the chili dish, but it comes with fish fillet. It still a big dish and delicious. I used to order their fresh coconut juice, which they usually come with whole freshly cut coconut. However, this time instead of serving with what the menu had showed fresh coconut juice , they gave us the canned coconut milk, which it taste awful... Not sure if thats a mistake they made or they 've changed to canned coconut milk instead of fresh coconut juice.
