Fresh Press Coffee - Richmond

Tiny dessert/coffee place across from Lansdowne. Tried the burnt basque cheesecake was okay. The earl grey lavender drink was a bit weak. The coconut matcha was quite flavorful.

Just had coffee at this place looked up reviews and thought to try it since we didnt know Richmond as well. Ordered two Americano coffees they were tepid temperature to begin with, had to get them to warm them up after a few sips, and absolutely terrible in taste: bitter and old product! Costly too. The pictures on website do not tell the real story about this place. Its small cramped and seating is hard after a few minutes of sitting. AVOID this place please. How can someone go so wrong with your basic coffee baffles me...

This is officially my favorite coffee shop in Canada ? Service was fantastic, the espresso was exquisite and served with a cup of tonic water by default, and the pour over was a true delight a smooth, fruity Ethiopian blend served in a fun beaker to then pour into my cup (got about two cups out of it, so totally worth the price). They had 2 other blends available for pour over too. Music choice was also super calming and helped set the mood for a pleasant Saturday escape from the hustle and bustle.Parking: Shared with other businesses, but I didn't have any trouble finding a spot.

A small spot with a warm atmosphere, but it was quite hot both inside and outside the shop. It was probably due to the 28-degree +weather that day. The owner was very helpful in explaining the differences between the various coffee beans. I ended up purchasing a light-roasted one that met my expectations(it's so hard to find a light-roasted bean in Canada). My only suggestion is that the volume of the music could be lowered a bit and perhaps consider including other brands of beans.

Amazing service, wonderful atmosphere, great coffee, and tasty treats!I got a blackcurrant macron and Earl grey cheesecake, and the flavors were perfect! Also a delicious iced Americano. I'd love to try their other cheesecakes!
