A&w Canada - Richmond

Food: I recently had a work lunch at A&W and ordered a Teen Burger Combo with Onion Rings. One thing I appreciate about dining in at A&W is that they serve your soda in a nice frosted mug, which prevents the drink from getting watered down with ice. The burger I had was dry and the patty looked dull and crumpled up. The onion rings, on the other hand, were a pleasant surprise. They weren't as oily as ones I've had at other fast food restaurants like Red Robin or White Spot. If you're in the mood for a small snack of something fried, the onion rings are worth a try here. Plus, the monthly rotating coupons can save you some money. Atmosphere: This A&W location is a full-sized restaurant with seating for about 60 people. The washrooms require a key to access, but the neighborhood in Richmond is relatively safe. The condiments are self-serve and there are nostalgic portraits of previous A&W restaurants on the walls. Service: As is typical with fast food establishments, you order and pay first before receiving your food. The service here is efficient and the wait time is usually under 5 minutes. Overall, A&W delivers good onion rings, but the rest of the food was lackluster. If you're craving fried food, this might be worth a visit. However, I personally wouldn't go back.

Same but Different is a fantastic restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. The burger and onion rings are a nostalgic favorite, served by friendly staff with a touch of class, including a fries basket and unique burger wrappers on a funky tray. We use this restaurant for our school's hot lunch program and they consistently deliver hundreds of orders on time with great service and follow-up. Keep up the good work!

Haven't had a bad experience here. My daughter and I love the mozza burger! A little pricey but worth it if you have coupons . Root beer floats and onion rings are yummy too!

I miss stand alone A&W's in the US. I wish they were still Drive-in style restaurants too, but this will do. Food is decent for a fast food joint and I like that you can buy 4 packs of glass bottle root beer. That's very nostalgic for me and reminds me of the 80s. The burgers are alright but the fries are top 3 for fast food fries for me.

The server was cleaning tables when I walked in, she sanitized her hands and came took my order, had my drinks ready and asked if I needed a take out tray. Meanwhile she took order with her headset on drive thru customs. My burgers were packed in no time with ketchup already in bag for my fries. A truly amazing genuine hard worker, thanks Kat, good work
