Bidrage med feedbackThe reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s lacking ethnicity. I’m first generation in the US of a family who came from the Mother land of Mexico.. so maybe I am a little bias but nevertheless, when I got to the menu page with the combos I saw that most of the items were chicken?? Donde esta la carne??? Well anyways moving forward my husband and I ordered and the food it self was delicious but prior to our order I asked the waitress if they have carne asada con arroz y frijoles she looked at me and asked “carne asada?” With a confused face and I told her I wanted a plate with carne asada, arroz y frijoles.. I showed her a picture and then she recommended a burrito that comes with carne asada and a side of rice and beans. I understand that it’s similar but I honestly just wanted a plate with meat, rice, and beans. She said that they don’t have that and she can get the owner, which at that point we had been traveling all day so I don’t want to give the wait staff a hard time so I ended up ordering their “combo amigos” which just came with tacos, a quesadilla, and taquitos and guacamole(not watery) which is always nice. Like I said food was still delicious.
The menu is very deceiving. Don't believe what you read. Ask the server what comes with rice and beans but don't expect the server to be able to tell you. If you are vegetarian make sure to look over your order carefully. Other than that the food was edible.
Hard pass. We thought we would give this restaurant another try, but it will be our last. While the menu looks professionally done, it is very deceiving. You see the menu item and a certain price along with a picture. You would then assume the picture is what you would be getting for that price, NOT. while the picture shows 3 sopas, or 3 fried cinnamon sugar tortillas, it ends up that price is just for one. It also shows a combo meal pictured with rice and beans, but alas, that is not what you are going to be getting without paying extra. Even with the color coding system saying which items come with rice or rice and beans, that is not what you will get for the price. On a side note. I am vegetarian and although they let me make a substitution (huge improvement from the past) and specifically asking if the rest of the plate would be meat free, that is not what was presented to me. The sauce for the burrito had chunks of pork in it . The waitress was very apologetic, but still a huge mistake if you have a food allergy...Overall the food had some potential (lots of options and variety), but was just not all that good.
The owner Pablo is not good with his high school employees treating them like $hit food is good only half the
It was just ok. We went once and prefer other Mexican restaurants.
