Bidrage med feedbackIn covid annoyed to see that waitress puts the glass on the table that holds it with her fingers around the top. Table dubby. very unimpressed. I had to sanitize the tip of my glass before drinking. had no other bad experience in over one. month in France.
Nothing has euro for an salat of eisberg salat and not much else. I complained in French that the salat was only good for a rabbit and the waitress was scary. this is an insult, especially as the owner was told the same as many...times.
Came with friends for simple omelette and chips. Waitress seemed very distracted and had to keep getting her attention to ask for our order to be taken, the place wasn’t that busy. When our food arrived the chips were stuck together and tepid and the...omelettes weren’t much better. Decided not to bother with coffee as they didn’t seem that bothered in our custom. If you just want a drink, it’s a nice location over looking the square but if you want food, go elsewhere or wait for it to change hands.
Great selection of wines and decent beer. Lovely place to sit on Friday which is market day. Regular place for locals though tourists ate also made welcome. Reasonable prices. Set menu of the day served.
Mondays Tuesdays in Richelieu mean almost nowhere open for dinner. This place looked open but actually closing at p.m. However, monday evening October we managed to get them to cook us chicken and chips which tasted very good. Local rosé was sadly...a poor example. Everything else looked closed again the following (Tuesday) night so we tried this brasserie again hoping for steak frites or something: no such luck despite being there at Different woman on duty told us pretty curtly they were closing and offered no help. We're due back in Richelieu soon but won't bother this place again. Happily a french local told us of another bistro still open......
