Bidrage med feedbackI got the makkaroni and gravy that is not associated with the actual gravitation (thanks) but does include all the cheese I could ever ask. I will.
We came to bacco to dinner with my sister and his family. it was packed on a Saturday night, but we had luck, a reservation for ours.
Great experience. I wanted to eat with my wife. burrata and her long hots as apps. brooklyn pizza cake for dinner. also the tiramisu for dessert.
I’m gonna be that guy (the Polish kid that grew up in an Italian neighborhood on the west side of Buffalo) and I’ll try to be fair. I like to be positive so the service was first rate. There were 7 of us and they gave us our own room and what I believe was their best waiter. He made sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. The food was a little disappointing, not bad mind you, but not over the top the best I’ve ever had. At an Italian restaurant I want mama’s cooking and apparently mama was off for the night. As I said I’m from Buffalo, went to college right across the street from the Anchor Bar, and I’ve eaten a fair amount of wings in my 60 years in Buffalo. The wings here are fried chicken with some sauce underneath that won’t stick to the wings because they’re coated. If you like fried chicken they’re not bad but if you want Buffalo wings go somewhere else (I can’t tell you where in this area yet because I haven’t found authentic wings anywhere near me). I had a Bada-Bing sandwich which was pretty good but didn’t give me a Bada-boom. The generic fries come in a little “fry basket” so they look good but are really nothing special. I’m not sure if I’ll go back, didn’t hate it, but for the price I think I can find better elsewhere. If I go back it’ll be because of the atmosphere and the service.
Not good. 2 meatballs that were super dry, happy to pay more for better, but dominicks are better. to far. the chicken carciofi had zero taste, no sauce.
