Bidrage med feedbackWe saw a shield for Miller's cheese house on the way to the Rice Lake of Trego. When FIB (from Illinois) all wanted to stop in my vehicle and get cheese, so we made a note to stop the next day when they were open. We went in and behind the counter was a gentleman. He was very helpful and answered our questions. We got a variety of cheese and fudge. He gave recommendations and even advised the best way to buy some of the special cheese we bought. He even went out to pack fresh cheese curds for us because they had run out and they were delivered just before our arrival. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely get back in.
Very delicious, bought more than pictured and the caramel was wow. Husten Salsas, too. The owners were very nice and informative. They know their cheese!!!
People here are really sweet helpful, the cheese meats are phenomenal. I love her summer sausage. We also found a Cheddar made with Carolina Reaper Paprika that has now become a private favorite. I have lived so far away to ask about the shipping, the woman who has been answered was informative about the best ways to go about the order as the shipping costs can be so high in the hot times of the year. In the meantime, fortunately, we drive out of the way to visit them when we get the chance to visit Wisconsin.
The ice is so good and creamy. I'm a fan of most cheeses. There is a ton of gifts and small foods such as pumpkin butter and beef sticks. The building is old and a little down. I only question the cleanliness of the building through the first appearance when walking. You can taste the ice cream and cheese before buying it completely worth it.
Awesome place to stop by on an annual trip to Wisconsin. They have a great selection of cheese for sure. Anything from chocolate to morel mushroom. Easy to park great help and of course delicious Wisconsin cheese. I have visited this location at least 10 times over the last 20 years or so. Can't wait for the next trip.
