Maxine's - Rice Lake

Family owned and operated. A local favorite for sure, always friendly staff and the food is always top Notch. It gets very loud when it's busy. I love the ash-brown with cheese! Good prices.

The food and the waitress were good. The young lady who got our coffee and drinks definitely showed that she didn't want to be there. A smile goes far.

Reasonable prices, large portions and the owner came around several times to ask how we were doing. Very friendly place!

Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Service was great! Would highly recommend to anyone passing through or locals.

I guess I’m not sure why this wouldn’t be 5 stars for anyone that goes here. Great service. Maxine herself stopped by each table to say hi. Wonderful food. I had the eggs Benedict. Great hollandaise sauce. Delicious. The pancakes were good also. BIG pancakes. The waitress UNDERSOLD how big they are, which is rare. She asked my son if he thought he could eat the 3 pancakes he ordered. He wasn’t close. I don’t think anyone needs the 3rd pancake. : Great service. Wonderful food.
