Ranch Lounge - Rice Hill

Cool place, Not enough staff. The waitress was also the cook and cashier, she was TOTALLY overwhelmed and we knew our orders would be too much and put us back on the road too late. So we left her a tip and scooted out the door. A huge bummer, the vibe is perfectly 'mid century travel lodge ' and after reading the food reviews we were excited to bring our family here to fill up before the last leg of our journey. Maybe next time!

The Ranch isn't the most update restaurant/bar in the area. As a matter of fact some may say it looks quite worn out, but the food is pretty darn good! Breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, it's loads of comfort food at a good price. Servers and bartender are good. Pool table, dart board and vid poker in the lounge. Worth the stop if your driving up or down I-5.

Like home cooking but better!!! We had yankee pot roast and shrimp scampi. Both were really really good. Pot roast came with mashed potatoes and gravy, super good. Scampi came with noodles and garlic bread, all really tasty. Salads with both and ice tea still under $35. Definitely a go to place when passing thru that area.

Food was amazing as well as the service ! Nice and cozy little spot . Portions were huge as well !

My wife and kids were heading back from Winston, on our way home to Washington. We stopped here before filling up and glad we did! My burger was 10oz of heaven with a MAAAAN portion of fries. Their homemade ranch was great as well. My son got the biscuits and gravy. Biscuits and gravy were both homemade and amazing as well. My wife got the ribs. Not only were they some of the best Ribs I've tried (And I've eaten ribs in 7 states) but their brown gravy and mashed potatoes were homemade. The roll was as well and was so soft and perfect. The pies were also homemade and 100% excellent. Basically, this was a family place with all menu items made from scratch. We don't get that in Portland anymore. Service was good, food was good, Menu was good. The only problem and negative I have is that this place is 3 hours from my house.
