Bidrage med feedbackWe took our three friends here (five of us total) for a 50-year-old lunch that travels 40 miles to taste this restaurant. welcome, bar service, quality food and service were excellent. what a canned about two of the four wires. two net parts were sufficiently large portions approx. 2.5 cm thick and what they expect. the other two were poor, very thin, very small cocky pieces. I have made this aware of one of the restaurant servers and asked him to let the cook know that this was unsatisfactory and should not be served. this is no cheaper place to lunch and it was disappointing that the restaurant risked its call by serving so bad cuts when everything else was good. a shame that no one apologised or came over to see us, and as all diners had been served, the cook or the management would not have been too busy to take a moment or two to talk to me. the server only advised that my feedback would be passed on to the cook. I mentioned the problem again when I received the bill and the same commentary. if the cod would have hit scratches, I would have scored this place a 5.
First-class service and food staff very polite and very nice roundings good selection of meals and desert
My partner and I went to Gibbons Bridge for Sunday dinner if they like good eating in a beautiful environment with excellent service, this restaurant is a must. add them to this excitement worth for money and they really can't go.
We made a reservation for tonight back in July, looking forward to the fireworks display, toffee parkin, and Lancashire hot pot. Upon arrival, we were given a generous serving of mulled wine, which was quite strong. The fireworks were fantastic and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful evening at The Gibbon Bridge.
A delicious mix of sandwiches cakes and of course scones served. The sandwiches smoked salmon, beautiful light egg on mini rolls and ham and mustard in a lovely roll. Choux bun my favourite, meringue and ginger cake all delicious. My only small criticism clotted cream...would have made the scone perfect. Very tasty jam. A lovely experience served on crisp white linen overlooking a beautiful garden.
