Bidrage med feedbackBest restaurant in the region I tried in years; food is of exceptional quality, preparation is exquisite, service is unmatched, ambience and decoration is great, kind of old style cool refined and very relaxed. No one dish will disappoint you! And prize is very reasonable even ordering from the menu and not on fixed price menu.
Good thing about this place is that they have different dishes to the local traditional ones and, despite local food is excellent, sometimes you like to taste something different. They still have few local dishes though, like local grilled meat, zamburiñas,... But they also have more exotic flavours like yuka with mango guacamole, ceviche or arepas! Service is quite attentive, although quite slow. They have a wonderful patio for when the weather allows. Same patio has a playground for little children which makes the place awesome for parents. Tip 1: the place is not easy to find and Google maps brings you there through the wrong way... Follow the main road until you are next to it and then go down a steep descent and turn left. I have been there for dinner this summer and the place is very beautiful. Food is delicious and different to other restaurants. Highly recommended!
Un resumo previo para os foráneos: Superb, to say the least. Product-focused cuisine (their menu varies according to seasons and offers a reasonable variety of dishes, from a Galician gourmet burguer to roasted octopus , tasty and flawless. They make the best apple crumble version I 've tasted in my whole life (I have a serious sweet tooth . Nice and professional staff, cozy atmosphere (a mix of shabby chic and traditional decor , and child-friendly (little playground, baby changing table . Really good value for money, from my experience. O Curral do Marqués é un lugar para repetir, si ou si: un ambiente enxebre-chic (ala! moi resultón, cun pequeno xardín e un parquiño onde ceibar ás feras ; unha carta diferente, centrada no produto (cousa boa e de tempada ; moi bo trato e servizo (sexas coñecido ou descoñecido , e a conto de todo o anterior, boa relación calidade-prezo, que iso tamén interesa sabelo. E cando parecía que xa estaba o cupo cheo de pros, vou e atopo un cambiador de bebés con coxín, toalliñas e todo. Aí xa entrei na éxtase parental. Volvendo ao tema da comida, recomendo todo o que probei (hai que ter en conta que a carta vai mudando : a Cangre-Burguer, galega e gourmet; o pan bao con carrillera (descúlpenme os normativos de porco, que se desfacía na boca; o solombo de vaca vella ao punto puntísimo, o polbo á tixola, e as croquetas de choco e ibéricas nivel de autor : nunca probei cousa igual, sen peloteos. Como son de dente fino para o doce, a sobremesa merece mención aparte. Probei un crumble de mazá con xeado de abelá literalmente perfecto: a mazá melosa e quentiña no fondo da cunca, o crumble crocante e areoso por riba, e para coroar, o xeado mantecoso, suave, sen un só cristal. Todo co punto xusto de dozura, respectando o sabor de cada cousa. Para facerlle a onda ao cociñeiro. Aquí conclúo, e deixo documentación gráfica que fala por si soa.
Comida de 10. El servicio perfecto. Os recomiendo la ensaladilla, estaba buenísima. Pagamos unos 25€ por persona y nos quedamos muy llenos y somos de comer bastante. Repetiremos seguro. Hay parking en el mismo lugar y por lo visto en verano tiene una terraza muy agradable.
