Dutchies Stonegrill - Rhyll

Had a pleasant dinner at the Stone grill. Steak was great and a generous size. The side dishes included with the meal were ok as was my entree of garlic prawns. All in all value for money and an interesting night out.

We loved Dutchies. We had the crumbed camembert for entrée, then I had chicken and prawns on the hot stone and my hubby had steak. The stone gives a lovely flavour to the meat, delish! The steak looked and tasted really high quality meat. We would have loved to try desert, but were simply too full, oh well, next time because we'll certainly be back.

Delicious - I had the mixed platter - pork chicken beef and a little piece of bratwurst sausage. My daughter had fillet steak. A little more expensive than most on the Island but worth it.

We visited dutchies in March with our family and at first sight it looks like a not so cheap steak in a not so up to date restaurant decor. But boy was I impressed!!The steak was amazing! Bought out in a stone grill you cook the steak while you eat it and the piece of meat is one of the best I've had. The wine was lovely and the service was personal. The chief even came out to talk to us regarding my nephews allergies and what he could have. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Phillip Island and more then happy to recommend to anyone heading that way.
