Christmas meal menu ! Probably too late for you to change your mind but my recent experience was that the Christmas Meal £30/person was the poorest value for money I have had in many years. The main course was served already plated with gravy poured over everything, the portion size was what you would expect from a childs menu. Atmosphere did not exist (not even tedious christmas songs), I 've said enough, except to say I will never go back there for a Christmas dinner

The team were brilliant and looked after us really well for my sister’s wedding. The food and service were great throughout the afternoon and evening.

Had an excellent Sunday lunch here today. The food was really tasty and served piping hot....also brilliant value for money.

We came as a party of 10 for the 3 course Christmas menu, fantastic value for money, food was lovely, great service all meals coming out together, friendly efficient staff, warm cosy atmosphere, will definitely return

I’ve been to this pub three times over the last few months, the food is absolutely gorgeous and very reasonable prices too. I would highly recommend the boars head, kind friendly staff also make a difference. I willl certainly be dining here a lot more in the future. Claire
