The Gate Inn Sutton Cum Lound - Retford

Had some potential adopter travels quite far to come and meet and welcome with their dog and potentially new dog. they wanted to go to lunch, I recommended that tor after I found out that it was dog friendly. they could not sing, it is praise enough, friendly welcoming and very a dog friendly pub to not mention that their eating is amazing. 5 ingenious pub recommend x

Haven't been here for over 3 years, has new management now. I had the warm goats cheese in breadcrumbs with a beetroot compote, very tasty and my wife had the liver pate which she fully enjoyed. For our main course I had a fillet steak cooked to my liking with triple cooked chips, absolutely delicious. My wife had the steak and ale pie which again she fully enjoyed. From this first visit we would highly recommend the gate. Will be coming back to sample more of the menu.

The food the drink the staff were all fantastic x will defiantly go again and can highly recommend it x
