Coco's - Resistencia

Coco's is a quaint restaurant with several rooms being used as dining rooms. The place could use a bit of freshening up (new paint for example). I started my meal with a mollejas (sweetbread) stew, which is something I had never seen before. It was...absolutely incredible! I followed it with a dish made with the local river fish that was baked. I am not sure of the name, but it too was delicious and the portion was so big I had to take of it to go. Best of all, the price was very reasonable. For an entree, principal plate and a liter of beer, it was just over USD.

So rarely do i leave bad reviews, but I thought Coco's was awful. The food was lacklustre, lacking flavour, and if I'd cooked it at home I'd have been disappointed. Meat was tough and tasteless, vegetables had been cooked to death, and the food lacked...any excitement or imagination. It's not cheap either. Can't think of much good to say, except we had a good bottle of wine. Service and staff were good.

Very goog service, English speaking staff, menu menus available in English and Spanish, very well selected foods with care, celiac diseases. menus. very good fish and regional meat. big salty and very good deserts. good wine letter of premium quality.

I started my food with a swamped swamp (sweetbread), which is something I've never seen before. It was absolutely amazing! I followed it with a dish made with the fish of the local river that was in the oven. I'm not sure of the name, but it was also delicious and the portion was so great that I had to take 1/2 of that to go. Best of all, the price was very reasonable. for an incoming, main plate and a litre of beer, it was just over $25 od.

The food was disgusting and it seemed like someone threw up on our plates. the service was really slow too. it was very expensive for what it was!! I'd never come back or recommend it to anyone!
