Bidrage med feedbackThe dining experience was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.
On Saturday night, eight of us went to dinner at this small restaurant and we were glad we had made a reservation because it was full. The atmosphere was nice and casual, and the staff was helpful, although they initially tried to speak to us in Macedonian, which we found amusing. They were very helpful in explaining the menu and the dishes. We started with the bread with feta as an appetizer, which was flavorful and came in a generous portion for the price. We also tried the pancake filled with ham and cheese on the waiter's recommendation, which was tasty but not something we would order again as we preferred the bread. For our main courses, we ordered a variety of dishes including chicken ribs, Lovaka (cheese-filled meat), and different grilled meats. The meat was tasty, but the accompanying salads were average. The side of rice was enjoyable, and we were given a large basket of bread to accompany our meal. Unfortunately, they do not serve burgers after 5pm, which was disappointing as some of us would have preferred that option. Overall, the portions were large but the food was just average.
The Serbian pljeskavica at Zegov is not your typical hamburger. Made with a mix of lamb, pork, and beef mince, this national burger of ex-Yugoslavia is a unique and delicious experience. Served with chips inside the bun, the pljeskavica is presented open-faced, showcasing its flavorful fillings alongside crispy fries drizzled with spicy ketchup and aioli. Priced at $12.50, this ample and tasty meal is a great value. Located in an industrial zone near Keon Park station, Zegov is a hidden gem that excels in serving up authentic Balkan cuisine. With its sizzling smells and flavorful dishes, Zegov is a paradise for grilled meat enthusiasts. I will definitely be returning to this Macedonian joint to indulge in their delicious offerings.
Came along to this location to try out some Malaysian food, but the Malaysian place had closed down. Just as well, this place is amazing. Never had Macedonian food before, but it's amazing. Very reasonable prices as well.
