Bidrage med feedbackUnfortunately, I had to give this terrible restaurant a star to write a review. If I could, I would give it zero stars!!!! The food was unusable (burning and simply unusable), and if the manager/owner asked to replace with another dish, another dish prepared us (that was not even great) and accused us for the additional meal. After questioning the additional fee on the entrance, the manager/owner came and continued to tell us that they appreciate our feedback, but we still had to pay for all the food we ordered, although half of it was completely unusable. She was awfully rude and unimaginable when she talked to us with absolutely no customer knowledge. Not here.
I'd go back. The day I visited, they opened somewhat later than what was published online, but it happened. I ordered the sizzling sisig, kare-kare, and finished it with Halo-halo for dessert. I enjoyed everything. The server was nice and the food came hot and well prepared.
Nice, hole-in-the-wall, Filipino restaurant. Clean and open atmosphere with Filipino music playing in the background. Although quiet, the servers were nice. The service was prompt, but in all fairness we were only the second table occupied. The food was flavorful. The Calamansi Chicken flavor was well balanced and the Sizzling Sisig was sizzling so much that it was jumping off the hot plate when being served. The garlic rice was a good serving, one that I could not finish. My favorite was the Kare Kare. It came with Bagaong and I didn't even have to ask. The veggies were cooked to perfection and the meat was tender. We ended our meal with the suggestion of Ube Halaya (sorry forgot to take a pic). Although delicious and not too sweet, we were a little put off by how it was served especially after all the other dishes were presented nicely. It was pretty much given to us in a take home plastic container. But nevertheless it was yummy and we'll take taste over presentation. Last but not least their bathroom was clean (extremely important to have especially as a restaurant). The prices were as to be expected for the portions. Overall we were pleased.
Since moving to Seattle I had a clear lack of philippino food especially places where I can take larger groups of my friends. This restaurant was a god. The menu is a wide selection of many dishes that remind me of family celebrations back home.
We always go back because of their iskrambol! it would love more if the shaved ice is finer, but it is delicious overall. Cooked with love!
