Bidrage med feedbackNice clean contemporary rooms. Completely smoke-free hotel, no casino. Very quiet rooms. I'll definitely stay again!
When checking in the person at the desk told me she accidentally charged me for the entire stay, as opposed to doing a charge authorization, no problem, I thought. I didn’t notice the charge come though but thought I should mention it when checking out. I let the desk know on checkout and the front desk manager for some reason got aggressive with me and talked down to me explaining how an authorization works which I fully understand. The person that checked me in was sweet but poorly trained. The manager at the end of my stay should not work in the service industry. She also belittled me when I explained that I had to work at a coffee shop as I didn’t want to pay $9 extra for faster wifi (I can’t remember a hotel in the last 15 years that doesn’t have fast enough basic wifi for streaming zoom/teams meetings) telling me “all I had to do was call the desk” which is odd. I’m not sure why regular speed wifi isn’t simply available. Last complaint, and it’s a small detail as the hotel is under renovation, the toilet did not fully flush and had a permanently stained bowl. I’ve stayed here a few times in the past but will no longer, I come to Reno every 8 weeks or so, not a huge loss to the hotel but I will take my business elsewhere.
Reserved king bed room. Only had double queen when we checked in. Toilet would not flush. Had to call maintenance at 1215am. Lamp head fell off, under the beds were filthy. Had to pay for self parking. Management never offered discount or breakfast to make up for all short comings. This was a Wednesday night.Never going back.Mike C
Likes:Clean, renovated hotelFree drink couponsPurified water dispensers for water bottlesDislikes:The parking lot is across the street. When you arrive, I would recommend parking in the valet area and checking in before entering the parking structure so that you have the “in and out” pass. Otherwise, if you enter the lot first, make sure to bring it in to get validated.
I stayed here for a wedding awhile back. The rooms were pretty decent and I liked that it was away from the smokey casinos, but they need to do something about the doors connecting the rooms. I have never received complaints about being noisy in a hotel before. I am generally pretty respectful, but the noise complaints were none stop and in multiple rooms. I could definitely hear my neighbors as well. The first night I was laying in bed with the tv on silently and got a call from the front desk saying I was being too loud. I was half asleep. Then in another room during the day there were multiple complaints from neighbor about us being too loud. Security stood outside our door on a few occasions to double check the noise level and they couldn’t hear anything in the hall. It was all through the connecting room doors. The staff was all very nice about it and knew we weren’t being loud and gave a few freebies for the inconvenience. They did mention that it is a known issue and not uncommon to receive multiple noise complaints. They definitely should add some insulation or something around the doors cause it really tainted my experience.
