Urban Crudos - Reno

Anything Gerson does tastes awesome. We saw the urban crudo truck at the lantern festival and knew we had to check it out. I've never had sushi tacos, but these were awesome. Very unique flavors that you don't taste very often in local sushi places. We tried every taco in the truck besides the salmon belly and after having them regret not trying that one too! We'll be back to try anything we haven't gotten yet, check them out!

All my favorite foods in one bowl and taco, which they make with seaweed as a shell.I tried their Cajun Tuna bowl and the Spicy Tuna taco at The Eddy. Food was fresh, sizes were great and the flavors, o the flavors! Great fusion

Fanboy here.. The owners are some of my favorite sushi chefs currently working in Reno. I have followed them wherever they may find themselves. And now they are doing this and I am all in. The price point is a little stiffer than just getting the variety of an all you can eat sushi meal. But the funny thing is...you don 't have to spend any more money to get satisfied. Well, I should say I don 't. If you are still eating 5000 calories a day in 5 meals....this might get a little expensive. But for me the price is totally worth it. I have been three or four times in the last month and cannot be more pleased with what they are offering. I think my favorite is the tekka maki roll with tuna. So fantastic that I get it every single time, no matter what else I may be getting. And with their dipping sauces...BOOM! The service is on point as usual. When they are at the Eddy there is tons of places to sit and eat and even get a drink. The spot on Wells that they are currently going to has no real place to eat other than in your own car....so plan accordingly. But no matter where they end up....if you are in the mood for some great raw fish and poke bowls, try them out.

MUST TRY!! Found this truck today at a low rider show at Idlewild. I guess they just opened but man I feel like this is exactly what Reno needed! The sushi tacos are to die for. They have everything raw on the menu but they will cook it for you upon request which was great. The food came out beautifully, upscale. Worth the . The scallop taco was so refreshing, light yet fills you up. I loved that taco so much I had to walk over for another an hr later. Their taco shell is tempura seaweed it is different and blends well with everything inside their taco. The salmon belly tho, I will be dreaming of that taco tonight!!! It was so good, the salmon was perfectly cooked and the pico was genius. My husband loved the spicy tuna poke bowl as well. I am very excited for this place and hoping it works out well for them business wise because it became one of my favorites. I will follow them around town. If you ever see their food truck out, please go try it out. You will not be disappointed!

6 out of 5 stars... unique blend of authenticity with traditional sushi and a south-of-the-boarder flare! No surprise as Gerson and Jonathan have always made the most creative sushi dishes. My fiancé and I each had the combo special... one of each tuna tacos for me, and the salmon and scallop tacos for her... absolute delight when paired with the gyoza, amazingly creative sauces, and pico de gallo topping! Cannot wait to return and try the poke bowls next! With this level of quality and flavor, only The Highest Recommendation is warranted!
