Bidrage med feedbackWe decided to visit this pub as it was conveniently located halfway between us and our friends. Upon arrival, the pub appeared just as advertised - a charming old establishment. I always check the accessibility for my wife who uses a wheelchair, and I was pleased to find that the interior was spacious and easily accessible from the car park. However, it was disappointing to find that there were no designated disabled parking spaces. The staff were very helpful in seating us at a suitable table and were accommodating to our needs. The menu offered a variety of choices, although there were several items that were unavailable. One highlight was the 'House Sharer' which provided excellent value. Overall, the food was good and plentiful. The staff was attentive, but the interior of the pub seemed outdated and in need of renovation. The men's restroom was not well-maintained, but the disabled toilet was acceptable and spacious.
This pub is a must-stop for any walker on the North Downs Way, as there are not many pubs along the trail. I had a wonderful time enjoying a couple of pints here while watching the cricket. The pub is spacious and the staff are very friendly. It truly felt like a hidden oasis.
